Sleeping cars on the rear!  Unfortunately a lot of freight cars too!  It was a bold experiment, but I'm glad it's over!

Dunno... I miss all the head-end M&E cars (or, in this case, rear-end). Reminds me of a few old lines that used to run similar trains, like the RI and EL - to name a few IIRC.

           Or they can ( did ) get rid of the revenue producing business and then cry all the time about supposed money losing passenger trains.

I agree, just the MHCs were fine, 97-2002 was a disaster!
