Solana Beach to Santa Fe Depot: April 10-12 This weekend, all COASTER and Amtrak Pacific Surfliner services along the San Diego segment of the Los Angeles-San Diego-San Luis Obispo (LOSSAN) coastal rail corridor will be suspended due to a planned Absolute Work Window (AWW). No passenger or freight trains will operate between Oceanside and Downtown San Diego beginning early Saturday morning through early Monday morning. An additional rail closure from Solana Beach to Downtown San Diego is scheduled from 5 a.m. Monday, April 12, to 4 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, to accommodate Del Mar Bluffs Stabilization emergency repairs. Additional weekend rail closures between Solana Beach and Downtown San Diego are scheduled for the following weekends:
Amtrak Pacific Surfliner tickets will be required for any Amtrak related replacement service. I hear the work window is to stabilize another slip-out along the bluffs at MP 245.1.
