I hope they are not disconnecting the main line from the south leg of the Washington Street Wye.

Most of the land that used to be the Washington St. wye is now airport parking.  I hear the work window is to stabilize another slip-out along the bluffs at MP 245.1.

The tail track of the wye was destroyed by the military without consulting with BNSF.

Why does Amtrak California continue leasing Superliner cars from Amtrak? Why don’t they just order additional Surfliner cars?

Are Superliners better than Surfliners?
