Date: 04/10/21 05:25 Re: Newark Penn platform infor ? Author: chess I thought the locations were numbered. Shows how much I pay attention to these things...
Date: 04/11/21 07:31 Re: Newark Penn platform infor ? Author: ronald321 I hope this helps:
If you are in Newark Penn - facing toward New York City -- the first track to you right is Track A (I guess the Pensy would have called this East) Then proceeding to you left (West, I guess) is track 1, 2. 3. 4. and finally Track 5, used mainly by NJT Rattan Valley trains. Date: 04/11/21 08:32 Re: Newark Penn platform infor ? Author: joemvcnj Those are track numbers. I was refering to location letters along the platforms. I think A is west; E is east.

If you, are. I don't think Amtrak uses them. At least they didn't each time I boarded Acela 1st Class -- or conventional coach or Business Class But, car location signs might be needed again, now that Amtrak is assigning a car number and seat number to Acela reservations. Sorry, I couldn't be more help. Date: 04/11/21 16:14 Re: Newark Penn platform infor ? Author: joemvcnj They are used in Newark and Trenton. I check out NJTs Departure Vision. It sometimes states which location the quiet and business cars are located.
