Passenger Trains > Today's PV on Amtrak 48Date: 09/22/21 04:36 Today's PV on Amtrak 48 Author: JPB Amtrak 48 arriving at Elkhart 0045 Wednesday 9/22/21 had Aberdeen Carolina & Western's ex-UP dome obs "The Menzies Vista" (Amtrak ID 801002) on the marker. Heading AAPRCO Convention at Burlington VT, I guess.

A beauty for sure !!!

The food was terrible, shrimp meal was over cooked and meat hard, rice good. Breakfast was Jimmy Dean Sandwich and it was OK. Staff was wonderful, they announced a mask, but few passengers wore one. We will be back on train 49 Oct. 1 and 2. Food is an issue. Maybe pack a box of KFC. LOL
