When you handcuff police, and when prosecutors do not charge them with felony crimes, then criminals know immediately that it is free reign to do what ever they want.  Southern California and the raiding of containers and trucks is exhibit A.  Murders have doubled in many cities after the "summer of love" (BLM protests) in the summer of 2020.

The single worst places to be on CTA are Jackson and Roosevelt Red line stations.

i found the crime data regarding violent crimes in the last 30 days that occurred on buses and trains interesting.

i wonder what that same data is like in other cities with public bus and train (i.e. subway, light rail, commuter trains) transit systems..........

It's not just Chicago - in NYC today, a woman was pushed in front of a subway train

I have urged my family in bigger cities to avoid public transit.

And I continue to live my life as I always have, and encourage my friends and family to do the same. It's amazing how far a little bit of common sense and situational awareness will get you!

Although I Agree with your point, it's somewhat disingenuous coming from you given your previous numerous postings about crime on Chicago transit.

Your view is that being in Chicago, period, is dangerous.
