Amtrak 156 with OLS 203 gets ready to beat the storm
Author: JPB

At 0825, OLS 203 backs train 156 into the Roanoke platform in advance of its scheduled 0855 departure for NYP (note that you can see the curvature of the earth!  ;-) )
Update: train 156 departed OT as the flakes began to fly.

Thanks.  The Roanoke forecast for today and tonight is the same as yesterday, 9 to 15 inches of mostly snow, with wind to come later.  This is from the Weather Channel/weather.com.  And the snow is coming down.

Hopefully this engine 203, 108, 100 Midnight Blue and 160 Peisican will one day run out west so everyone can enjoy them.

I just want 203 thats it.  Personally as an OLAV, and for my wife who I brought on as an associate.
