Passenger Trains > FL: BrightLine begins familiarization ridesDate: 01/17/22 07:47 FL: BrightLine begins familiarization rides Author: Lackawanna484 BrightLine will begin familiarization / test rides for its crews on the "new" segment from West Palm Beach to the Cocoa area today. The current plan is to depart WPB (likely the workshop area) around 7 am, and head north to Frontenac. The train will reverse there, and return to WPB in the same afternoon. At this point, there are no plans to enter the new ly constructed section.
The article in the Palm Beach Post says the plans are to run "through the end of 2022". I'm guessing this will be weekdays only Date: 01/17/22 08:48 Re: FL: BrightLine begins familiarization rides Author: cutboy1958 Congratulations!! They found people who want to work on a RAILROAD!!

WRONG The Contractor found people to run the interurban rapid transit trains. They are not working for or on a railroad and do not pay into the Railroad Retirement System, and do not come under the FELA. They are not railroad employees. BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH It is so sad that you loose more credibility every time you post the same thing over and over and over and over and over... Maybe if Amtrak hired like that they would actually have better service. 90 minutes from West Palm Beach to Stuart will probably work down to about 40-45 minutes as the testing continues. https://www.tcpalm.com/story/news/2022/01/18/brightline-begins-test-runs-first-train-through-treasure-coast/6510482001/ Posted from Android Date: 01/19/22 17:07 Re: FL: BrightLine begins familiarization rides Author: howeld PlyWoody Wrote:

I was starting to loose faith but in the end was not disappointed. |
