Highball Main St, SR— nice!
Had dinner w/ engrs Matt and Paul last night in Reno— a rare chance to get together. Good to see they’re finally getting over the road.
Back to bed for me — not for these fellows, though. Safe trip, gents !

My last Amtrak trip several years ago.  #5 arrival Emeryville 05:20!
Arrival at Truckee 20:35.  All night stopped on Donner and not ion Winter. That was it for me!

Actually the ISO was a “lowish” 640. Not crazy high. F11 on Bulb, and I held it open based more on what I was seeing than anything. I got 3 shots (head end, center, and tail end), so maybe a second or two each? The 1st and 3rd show the gates on both side of the track.
These LED signals are hella bright!
