Author: Super-C

Amtrak  Train  #  503   South with Charger  #  1403  and unit #90252 broke down some where around Plum this morning.
BNSF  donated a unit off a north bound loaded Roberts Bank  B C coal train unit #  6417.
Amtrak took the train back to Olympia WA and and off loaded the passengers.
Then they put # 503's passengers onto south bound  #  11 for the rest of their trip south.
Amtrak then sent Train #  503 north back to Seattle WA.

Impossible, I thought only the Midwest engines had problems? Nice picture.

Today's Hiawatha trains suffered from dynamic brake issues and a frozen DEF tank. Good thing there's no 329 tomorrow, gives the shop more time to swap the engine or heat the fluid up.

My 30 some year old diesel pick up has a factory heater on the fuel filter. You would think DEF would have a heater on it like most new class 8 trucks have.

If you don't pay the Siemens Mafia, your locomotive will just mysteriously fail on the road!
