Additional Bus Connection to Reno
Effective May 20, 2022, service between Sacramento and Reno will be increasing with an additional weekday and weekend round trip.
  • Bus 3542 connects from trains 524 and 720 departing from Sacramento at 10:00am and arriving in Reno at 1:10pm.
  • Bus 3549 connects to trains 549 and 747 departing from Reno at 2:10pm and arriving in Sacramento at 5:35pm.
Memorial Day
On Monday, May 30, 2022, the Capitol Corridor will be operating on the weekend/holiday schedule in observance of Memorial Day. If you are planning to travel on BART, they will be operating on their Sunday schedule for the Richmond and Oakland Coliseum lines.

The CC trains have been having so many delays lately (mechanical, trespassers, freight interference, etc..) that's it's a real gamble using their service anymore.  You could easily get stuck somewhere for HOURS, not moving.  Happens all the time now.  Bring back Mr. Skoropowski--he did a better job running the service.
