Amtrak 1004, the eastbound Southwest Chief  has just crossed the Mississippi river bridge and rounding the durve at Niota, Illinois in 1987.

Thanks Ron for the Video. They were really pouring the coal to it there, coming off the Curve.
I'm glad the MoW worker "made it" but hard to watch him make that Sprint. No room for error.

I bet No. 4's engineer was laying hard on the horn too, nice video of the Chief back when Amtrak was Amtrak!
