Great video, I love the snow on the locos. I noticed to Hi-Level cars, the first was a transition car, but what was the other one (second to last car in the train)?

I believe it is just a Hi-Level regular coach car. Not a Hi-Level Diner, not a Hi-Level Cafe/Lounge, and not a Hi-Level Transition car. Appears there's only one sleeper (right behind the Hi-Level transition car). Not seeing the smaller window for where the lower handicap room would be on the other Superliner cars.

Nice video, I miss how Amtrak was back then, they were doing so well until the crappy Mercer Cuts showed up in 95 and from then on out Amtrak's been facing more cuts from their own people than Congress!

I wonder if the rear 2 cars are deadheads.  Seems like the diner was usually the rear car west of SLC in those days, and the 2 regular coaches are ahead of the lounge.
