Passenger Trains > Trains 5 and 3 of the 19thDate: 09/19/22 16:27 Trains 5 and 3 of the 19th Author: sethamtrak Both trains are running without Sightseer Lounges today. Doesn't look like there are diner lounges or 35000 series snack coaches either.

But this bears watching just to see if the lost SSL on both trains is an innovation on part of Amtrak's management to aid with recuperation from the hardships of the pandemic or if it is just an isolated SNAFU.

That seems odd considering it wasn't that long and far from the origin. Was the diner not fully functional?

It was involved in some type of ‘vehicle’ incident east of McCook, NE. It arrived McCook 3:19 late and appears to be holding there an additional 4 hours,

There are several places near the depot, unfortunately it looks like they are some distance west of the station. I'm sure Amtrak will provide for them. (insert sarcasm in this space ___________________________). ):
