Where is 8/19th?

This train has fallen off the radar. The Great Northern would NOT run their passenger trains that way!

Number 8 departed Spokane at 09:16.

They’re detouring on the UP today on account of BNSF cutting in the new Lake Pend Oreille bridge.

And it's still off the map it seems at 6:15 pm EST..........Train #8/28 did leave Seattle/Portland at 9 pm, instead of 5 pm due to late turn of inbound equipment. So there's that to contend with as well.....

They turned off the tracker. Was going to be about 4 hours late leaving Chicago account the vehicle strike WB on 7. However, they lost an additional 4 hours leaving Seattle due to encountering "mechanical issues". Left Seattle 8 hours late.

Seattle has a new locomotive shop, but the cars are maintained out in the open  on pit tracks that have been there for 70ish years.

It seems that if #8 leaves Seattle after midnight (i.e. more than 7.5 hrs late) it doesn't show up on the tracker.  I would guess that's some sort of bug in the system.
