Passenger Trains > Amtrak 4 with BNSF ES44C4 leader at Ft Madison

No idea why BNSF ES44C4 7971 is leading Amtrak SW Chief at Ft Madison operating perhaps 6 and a half hours late at 1717 Saturday 11/25/22...

And it departed Galesburg at 1835...

         Obviously power problems with an Amtrak unit, me thinks!   :)

Looks like engine was running on at least one for HEP...I don't thing most freight engines have a HEP generator. There might be a few...but. 

Everybody is going to be mad when they see the picture and realize they can't blame the Charger this time.

The third unit was down on #4 and was very late.

Nice pics and at least he was only 6 hours late, but will Chicago take the time to figure out what was wrong with the 2ND Unit and send it out as No. 3 or send it back to LA as it is!

I believe your answer is: Chicago swapped it out.

I show Amtrak 4(23) with BNSF 7971-AMTK 74-AMTK 174. I show that 74 was on 3(26), but was paired with AMTK 60.

All things considered, this trainset should be on 4(29) coming into Chicago tomorrow. AAAAANNNNNNNDDDD, it's now in "Service Disruption."
