#5 Terminating at Winnemucca ?

I noticed on Amtrak Alerts that the Zephyr has terminated at Winnemucca and that alternate transportation will be provided. I hope they get their act together since I'm departing from Sacramento next Saturday on #6.

i saw it stop there for awhile then moving?  maybe HEP went out?   crap shoot any more you travel on amtrak in the west , or airlines too a little

only alert i saw was disabled freight train , 5  is on the way again, i'll look some more

A couple auto racks went on the ground at MP 415, just West of Winnemucca.  I guess they tore things up a bit too- 20 ties needed to be replaced.
