NJ Transit Engineers Strike Possible?

Philadelphia Inquirer (inquirer.com)  headline "NJ Transit Engineers Could Strike
As Talks Over Higher Wages Have Hit An Impasse."  Unable to provide link as
I'm not a subscriber, but story is now on the homepage, scroll down, right side.
Look for photo of a Conductor but it's the Engineers who might strike!

The media doesn’t know the difference. They think the conductor runs the train.

So does most of the general population. "I drive trains." "Oh, you're a conductor." (Drive is a lot easier for people to comprehend.)

The expressions I get when I show them a picture of the alerter reset button and tell them it's the steering wheel are entertaining.

I asked peoiple in my office why do you think conductors drive trains, and they say, how should we know, you are the one who knows trains.  I reply that is basic English - do you think engineers punch tickets ?
