Passenger Trains > Anniversary unit 108 in the Green Mountain StateDate: 02/08/23 17:28 Anniversary unit 108 in the Green Mountain State Author: DavidP Today's Amtrak 55, the southbound Vermonter, featured P42DC 108, still wearing it's Amtrak 50th anniversary paint. Here's a video and photo of it crossing the White River at South Royalton, running on former Central Vermont Railway iron. The state-supported Vermonter was introduced in March 1995 as a replacement for the overnight Montrealer.
