Passenger Trains > Amtrak Charger 306 Leads 14/8

Seen late passing through Santa Clara.  I was waiting in order to photograph it, but gave up after it became over 1 1/2 hour late.  After heading back to my car of course here it comes.  :(
 

Sorry you missed it! It finally showed up in Oakland and they didn't waste anytime getting past OKJ and EMY for points North...

Alex, as someone who has done a significant amount of night photography over the years, I'm curious, what camera setup did you use to get that absolutely awesome photo???

Glad you all enjoy the photo!

This photo was made possible with a Leica M11 and a fast wide angle lens. The exact specs were 28mm at f/1.4, my iso was 3200, and the shutter speed was set to 1/60th of a second.

Great pic, Alex.  My friend saw it in Salem, OR today.

I wonder how 306 got to LA in order to lead #14 yesterday? 

The two possiblities I can think of:

Arrived on #3 from Chicago
Tacked onto #11 in Seattle, from the Builder 7/8 pool
