Metrolink 910 at Burbank

I stopped at Burbank station this morning and caught an inbound loading passengers for downtown. I noticed the fuel tank had a message touting clean fuel!

Great Photo.  I like the looks of these units better than the Siemens Chargers.  They would look even better if Metrolink would bring the blue paint all the way down to the frame level.  That bow-wave effect of the black paint above the frame looks a little odd to me.  Glad EMD got the build-quality issues resolved, much of it related to trash left inside the fuel tanks during construction at Muncie, Indiana.

An for RENEWABLE FUEL, that would be ONE HUMUNGOUS battery sitting there!
