Any word when these cars will be delivered and put into service? Amtrak mentioned they should start showing up the first quarter of 2023 but have been seen yet

Where are they and what is the delay?

Aren't each supposed to be semi-permanently coupled to a coach ?

Apparenly it is not that hard to change the single cars from H Coupler to semi-permanently coupled. lso, all s have not been delivered yet anyway.

Actually, how do we know that the married pair Coaches have been delivered/put into service? Converting couplers and gangways becomes an issue only if married pair Coaches have been put into service as singles. I am not sure I at least know for sure that any have been put into service. There were a significant number of single Coaches in the order.

In any case, I don;t know the answer to your first question or to my question. Without those it is merely the blind leading the deaf ;)

Plenty of married coaches are in service. No cafes have been delivered. Strictly Business class cars have been though.

Are they operating as single Coaches for now? Or are they operating as married pair of Coaches? Thanks.

I have taken a few trips on the venture cars.  I think some of them may have been married pairs because of the way the gangway between the cars was wider and completely enclosed.  I will be riding to Chi-Stl on Sunday.  What should I look for to confirm that my train had married pairs of cars?
