About an hour later, AMTK 305 was seen leading southbound train 11 - Coast Starlight Both photos were taken from the Lander Street overpass Jonathan Fischer West Seattle, WA Date: 09/01/24 18:40 Re: AMTK 90229 @ Seattle, Washington; 08/31/2024 Author: regalstream1516 Neat! Beautiful! Thank you for posting. The 90229 was the dedicated NPCU for the Heartland Flyer from 1999 until 2011 or so. Glad to see it still in service. The Starlate looks pretty nice, and clean! I think the LA car washer still works.

Not exacty a return to the old days of the Starlight, when they ran the Pacific Parlor cars. But it sure is a step in the right direction. Normal consist has only a coach and a coach-baggage now. Those are really nice photos. I guess the Lander Street Overpass is the Roosevelt Road of Seattle now.
