Passenger Trains > On-Time and Clean Builder

7 out of Glenview on-time today. Am entirely new set was made up from cars in the coach yard. Mystery equipment? Also, most every car was cleaned/washed/windows shiny. 

Also included is a shot of train 332 passing through Morton Grove this morning. As previously mentioned, 1340 becomes 341 and then it runs as 332 and 1333 the next day. Interesting to see an ALC42 running a "Hiawatha" train.

Wait, Amtrak Chicago did some pre-planning for a late Empire Builder that arrived this morning and was on deck for making up a completely new trainset? Honestly, they did have enough time to turn the consist for a 3:05 pm departure for #7/27 today. Just move the cars that arrived this morning at 7 am on late #8/28 and put them on the axle count cars. Why clean or stock them! None the less, glad this worked out and glad the Empire Builder train of #7/27 (2) got a clean train set!
