Passenger Trains > Free rides on Caltrain September 21 and September 22.

There will be free rides on Caltrain on the weekend using the electric EMU's. There are also many special events at many stations.  See attached.  This is the weekend when they begin quicker service on Saturday and Sunday every half hour.

This is also Muni Heritage weekend in San Francisco with free rides on historic streetcars and certain historic cable cars. Also, special free historic bus service to Caltrain SF station.  See attached.

Try out the much discussed seats on the new Caltrain. Although they are thinner, they push in more than the thicker but more firm seats on the gallery cars.  Give your own opinion on this.
