I don't know a lot about local politics in Fernley, Nevada, but I can tell you Daniel Birkel is seeking the Ward 5 seat on City Council.

That's almost the very location where a Nevada State Trooper asked me what was going on... 10 years ago.

He was satisfied with the explanation that I was waiting for a special train, a BNSF Sparks local led by Warbonnet GP60M. Unlike other law enforcement encounters posted on TO, this one was friendly, so no ranting or venting.

I generally despise politics, but your shot didn't anger me. Thanks for posting.
