Passenger Trains > CRESCENT problemsDate: 01/06/25 14:04 CRESCENT problems Author: twropr Crescent #20 got to Lynchburg at 10:17 am (40 min LT) but did not leave until 2:10 pm (4'29" LT). ALC-42 Charger 317 was set off for unknown reasons, leaving P42 147 as the sole power.
The setoff took longer than unusual due to the switch to the setoff track having to be dug out (ice/snow). #20 took an additional hour hit at Charlottesville awaitng a fresh engineer. Andy Date: 01/06/25 15:17 Re: CRESCENT problems Author: westcoastrails The new power set out while the power it was bought to replace forges on with the train solo.
