Interesting delay on Roanoke train 151

As NY-Roanoke train 151 was leaving Lynchburg, a rail grinder working on the former N&W, just beyond the Montview/Kinney connection (SOU to N&W) caused s fire that held Elkhart-Crew Symbol Freight 18M
out of the yard.  151 was delayed almost 2 1/2 hrs waiting for 18M to clear.  151's late arrival caused #66 to leave RNK 45 min LT.

Thank you for that report.

By the time 66 got to Washington it was 25 minutes late.  It was able to cross the Long Bridge over the Potomac after the air crash with no delay.
