Passenger Trains > 40 and 49 connections at Chicago todayDate: 02/08/25 11:38 40 and 49 connections at Chicago today Author: Chessie1963 40 took a hit due to a disabled freight, 49 hit a car, both are over 6 hours late as they push toward Chicago. My first thought was, "Gee, folks will miss their connections west. Then it occurred to me that we are talking Chicago. Connections may work just fine if it is a typical Chicago day.

This would be good to know, but need to break-down by sleeper and coach class. I find that a LOT of the sleeper passengers are connecting to another train out of Chicago on inbound Floridian (Capitol Limited) and Lake Shore Limited.
