There is this. "ADULT PWD MI PWD MI ID AND CERTIF REQUIRED COMPANION PWD MI MUST TRAVEL WITH PWD MI". What is " PWD MI". What is "PWD MI ID AND CERTIF REQUIRED". What is "COMPANION PWD MI". What is "MUST TRAVEL WITH PWD MI". Date: 03/11/25 13:18 Re: Ticket questions Author: DutchDragon PWD = Passenger With Disability
Date: 03/11/25 13:50 Re: Ticket questions Author: Spongebob-Trainguy Thanks.
What is "MI". What is "CERTIF". Date: 03/11/25 14:04 Re: Ticket questions Author: prr60 My guesses:
"PWD MI" - Person with disability, mobility impaired "ID AND CERT REQUIRED" - Identification and a certification of disability is required "COMPANION PWD MI" - Non-disabled person accompanying the PWD "MUST TRAVEL WITH PWD" - The companion must travel on the same reservation and itinerary Date: 03/11/25 14:05 Re: Ticket questions Author: DavidP MI = Mobility impaired?
CERTIF = certification? Sounds like a ticket for two people, one of whom has a mobility impairment, the other of whom is their traveling companion. Amtrak may be asking for some type of certification of the imparement, and restricting the companion to only traveling with the impaired individual at the price or in the accommodation quoted. Just a guess on my part though - best call Amtrak if it's important to you. Dav Date: 03/11/25 15:41 Re: Ticket questions Author: jp1822 DavidP Wrote:
