IAIS Hawkeye returns

Rumor has it that Iowa Interstate's business car "Hawkeye" will be on #6 out of Denver tonight.  Govern yourselves accordingly.

Glad IAIS Hawkeye is on her way home to Iowa.  Thanks for the photos Andy.  Business car Iowa Interstate RR 100 is always welcomed in Denver, CO.

Here's a screen grab from Steel Highway Railcam's West Liberty live cam of Hawkeye on the marker of BICR-12 at 0935 Sunday 4/13/25. I'm curious how/where this car got from Amtrak 6 to IAIS? At Chicago?

I assume it ran reverse route from last week which would be Metra hauled the car via the route of the IC Amtrak trains, 21st St., 16th St., then down the IC lakefront line to Kensington then down the Metra Electric Blue Island branch to BI and deliver to IAIS.
