Passenger Trains > Defeated again by late Floridians at TampaDate: 06/29/25 07:22 Defeated again by late Floridians at Tampa Author: ronald321 If you read my past post about my weekend attempts to
photograph the dirty Floridian, (#41), to send to local Media, and AmManagement -- but, the train's lateness has prevented me, well--- Some fellow fans told me to stop complaining about the filthy/late Floridian, and do something about it.---this was my little attempt to do something about it--but I failed. Sometimes, it's impossible to do anything. This weekend was my last try.--but AGAIN the train was 5 hrs. late Sat. --and today (Sunday) it is again 5 Hrs. late (so far). All may be well, however -- if the Chicago washer is now operating---I won't have to bother. If that is the case, it is about darned time!

The dispatcher is talking with the engineer, has an apparent major fault that is showing, and is now trying to limp along. Dispt now saying no extra units are around to assist.

A rescue locomotive is enroute to assist the train to Jacksonville, where buses will then transport customers between Jacksonville and Miami. Perhaps this is the new way for the Floridian to operate in Florida - by Ambus!!!

I will report to TO when trains are being washed. Date: 06/29/25 11:33 Re: Defeated again by late Floridians at Tampa Author: Typhoon jp1822 Wrote:
