Passenger Trains > Bright Yellow Amtrak Engine on Carolinian July 2Date: 07/03/25 07:05 Bright Yellow Amtrak Engine on Carolinian July 2 Author: dadonatrain I rode 80 the Carolinian yesterday from Durham NC to NewYork in business class. We made the usual engine swap at Washington. I was walking on the platform at the time and I didn’t see the electric engine we took on until it was too late to walk forward for a close look. But on a curve I could see it. It was entirely bright yellow. I have no clue all what its markings were. Does anyone know?

I could see a big black logo on the center even though I couldn't read it from where I sat. I'm sure this was it. Thx.
