Passenger Trains > Project 430 — Moody TuesdayDate: 07/04/25 20:26 Project 430 — Moody Tuesday Author: walstib I started out July with this moody shot on Tuesday, with number 27 in about the middle of Tokio at 4:58 a.m., which was 4 minutes before sunrise.
Project 430 — which refers to the time I set my alarm to in the morning to get out trackside in time — is my ongoing summer solstice project to capture number 27 around Ritzville at sunrise. The project began in May, and will continue until sometime in July. ![]() Date: 07/05/25 07:24 Re: Project 430 — Moody Tuesday Author: wirelessenabled Very nice!!

It reminds me of boarding the eastbound NP “Mainstreeter” in Spokane in late May, 1969 at 4:30 am. I was amazed that the eastern sky was already light with the soon to rise sun, providing essentially a full daylight ride to my destination, Missoula, MT. Thanks in advance!
