Passenger Trains > Carl Sandburg 381/382 with two Ventures 7/5/25Date: 07/05/25 10:41 Carl Sandburg 381/382 with two Ventures 7/5/25 Author: redspeed Saw on the Mendota and Galesburg cameras number 381 (382 this evening) was over an hour late out of Chicago had only two Venture cars. It also had an Amfleet snack car and a baggage car for axle count.
Sometime last week or the week before the sister train Illinois Zephyr 380/383 had a Venture cafe car removed and was replaced with an Amfleet snack car. What you saw has been the normal consist for some time now.
