Number Three: 12 Hours Late
Author: MacBeau

Number 3 descending Sawmill Canyon west of Kingman in daylight yesterday late morning, a sight not often seen.
Be of good cheer,

Good old number 4 still hanging in there. I believe it's the lowest numbered/oldest P42 still in service. Thanks for sharing!

I'm sure the non railfan passengers weren't thrilled, but that is one ride I'd like to do in daylight, so I'm a bit jealous.

I rode a very late #3 one time. It was a whole different experience. I really enjoyed it and you got breakfast.

If I had someplace I was going and even if it was vacation, I would ditched that mess and got a rental car or airline ticket LONG before I was delayed 12 hours.
