Question - how many passenger cars does the Atlantic City Line usually operate with? I would think that even three cars would be more than enough????? I fear for the future of this line, but it might be safe since it can be used as a political football between north and south Jersey. But the ridership is certainly much less than all other NJT rail lines..... It needs at least a seasonal extension to Cape May though!!!!

Date: 10/31/25 03:38 Re: NJ Transit PRSL Heritage Unit Author: jp1822 So there would be extra capacity (e.g. Comet passenger cars) running on the Atlantic City train sets........Hmmmmm.........
Date: 11/03/25 15:08 Re: NJ Transit PRSL Heritage Unit Author: PlyWoody Why can you call it a heritage unit when it is not a number PRSL ever used and name size is wrong as PRSL never had the name on cabinet doors as it was on a name strip panel on the top edge of body. The WJ&S and it lessee PRSL used the 60xx series.
