#11 Hit & Killed a pedestrian

10/29. 4:30pm
Our train#11 is stopped South of Albany Ore after hitting and killing I believe a pedestrian. They have turned off the power to retrieve something from under the train. I expect we'll be here a while. Prayed for the pedestrian....

Is that Albany Oregon or Albany California?

Ouch. Thanks for the update. I noticed the train stopped in Albany, Oregon, along with a seattle-bound Cascades about amile south of you, on the map and wondered what was going on.

The engineer on that #11 is well liked and very friendly to young railfans. We're all hoping he's ok.
