Passenger Trains > 4202 on Home Rails TodayDate: 11/01/25 15:30 4202 on Home Rails Today Author: thebluecomet New Jersey Transit's most recent repaint, the Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines GP40 is in regular service between Philadelphia and Atlantic City on former PRSL trackage. It and other GP40 veterans typically cover the regular AC Line trains. Weekend service uses 3 trainsets with 3 or 4 cars each.
4204 pushing east toward AC at Winslow Jct. 4216 heading westbound toward Philly passing the tower at Winslow Jct. 4202 pushes toward AC passing the old Berlin station. It's very nice that NJT finally put one of their heritage Geeps to begin its maiden journey on its former home rails for a change. The 4202 certainly feels great on former home rails. I'd like to photograph it on the ACRL sometime but that probably won't happen for a while. I'll probably get to see it run up north where I live when the time comes.
