13, 14. Conrail Shared Assets CA15 from Camden, NJ, to West Falls, Philadelphia, where an NS local will take it to Abrams Yard in King of Prussia, PA, to become NS 39G to Conway Yard, west of Pittsburgh; on Conrail's Delair Branch, formerly NEC track zero.

Freights on track 0 always have power on each end? They need to be able to change ends?

Still lots of freight to/from Camden?

I'll second the bravery part.  Haven't been there since the 80's other than passing through on the train.  Appreciate your efforts, for sure.

Great set of shots!  Can't see that down here in Texas!

What is the NJT GP40-2 doing there?  Is SEPTA leasing power?

Not as a station.

CA15 is usually longer than Monday's train.  It usually has two engines on the front and one dpu in the middle.

I've never seen a security problem at North Philly station in daytime.

North Philly was ALWAYS a big station stop for the Amtrak Clocker trains right up until they were discontinued in the early 2000's (a lot of monthly pass holders who were commuters to NYC), as well as the Keystone trains when they stopped there too. I think there are only like two round trip Keystones stop there any more.

The NJ Transit Train is coming from the Delair Bridge over the Delaware Rive to New Jersey.  It's the Atlantic City to Philly 30th Street train. The route from New Jersey joins the NEC at Shore Interlocking in Frankford Junction. Site of the infamous Amtrak crash of 10 years ago.  And a horrendous wreck in the PRR days.  Both with major loss of life.

In photo 13, NS 4847 looks as though it has a billboard on top of the engine, interesting scene.

The building holding the billboard used to be the Joe Frazier Gym.

Nice shots, it’s been 20 years since I walked around the station, it was an interesting place. Would have loved to have seen it in its heyday.
