Our local shortline, Albany & Eastern, ran a seasonal Candy Cane Express today, with GP9 1750 and SD9 (ex-George Lavacot) 5399 for power, push-pull style.  Most notable, besides a couple cool old units, was seeing the ex-GN round-end observatioon 'Appekuny Mountain, returning to its roots with GN paint.  It will eventually be lettered correctly.  Thanks to the good folks at Albany & Eastern and its owner Rick Franklin for making these happen!
