Three Different Kinds - Hiawatha 339
Author: sethamtrak

Running 3 hours late out of Glenview is Hiawatha 339 tonight. 335 suffered a PTC failure on 4613 near Abbott Park. When the late 338 got back to Chicago, 4613 needed to be capped. 56 was called to the rescue. 514 was trailing and will lead a very very late 342 tonight. The passengers waiting on 339 for hours were pissed. This set should be 329, 336 an 337 tomorrow. I will try and get photos after an appointment tomorrow.

514, a dash 8 fills in for a shortage of working Midwest consortium charger. 4613 with no PTC is a SC44. P42 56 (a Texas Eagle P42) capped the charger. Three different kinds of locomotives on one train.
