Of course! They were part of an order for the Penn Central, 50 years ago to be specific! 50 years! I'll bet we won't get 50 years out of the Korean Silverliner V's. Well done, GE! I miss the SIlverliner 2's and 3's. Much smoother lines than the 4's, being boxier, and having the humps on the roof and the side door plugs.

I had read that the particular unit featured above entered service in 1975 so in that case - Happy Birthday No.392! /Mitch. |
