Passenger Trains > Today's EB Chief in Marceline with AMTK 203 leader

I went to Marceline this morning to meet up with family for my birthday. The railroad gods were good to me, because there were 4 trains in about 15 to 20 minutes including the Chief with the Operation Lifesaver heritage unit leading.I had to download the picture and video from my Facebook page, which greatly decreased quality from 4K 60 fps (or higher).

Nice video, makes me wish I was on board.  Speical paint units are always a good catch!

Nice video!  I rode on #4 last month and we also had 203 leading (with 79 in new Phase VII paint as the second unit)! Hope you got a chance to see the Santa Fe SD40U #5008 which is located near the museum across the tracks as well!

Yeah I see it occasionally ;) Usually I would have taken my video from the park facing 5008 and the museum but there was a ton of snow pushed up above the running boards of 5008 so it wasn't looking the best.

The self storage across from the caboose in Ripley Park is also decorating their doors in train door covers. This picture is probably close to a year old as there are more locomotives on the doors now. I will get a updated picture when I go back up in a couple of weeks.

3 coaches KC to Chicago is the normal right now.

And should be the normal MINIMUM year-roud, with four coaches in peak summer season for the Boy Scouts - but it is regularly short on coaches.
