The evening train from NOLA, train 26, will have the extra car for its trip back to Mobile. Train 24, the morning train from NOLA will not have an extra car and, consequently, train 25, the return from Mobile will not either.

They have been adding it on weekends only. It seems it will run daily through Mardi Gras season. Not sure if there is an "extra for the extra" or just the one.
