Passenger Trains > NJT's 4202 Metamorphosis & deja vu!Date: 01/09/26 11:35 NJT's 4202 Metamorphosis & deja vu! Author: Pattenburg Back on March 7, 2025 I was in Hackettstown (NJ) NJT's station to await train 851’s arrival. Leading that day was NJT 4202, a GP40H-23B. I got a quick shot while awaiting its 11:58 departure to head back east. Fast forward to January 9, 2026 found me back up in Hackettstown once again awaiting NJT 851's arrival. Leading once again on this day is NJT’s 4202 only this time its paint scheme and lettering has changed. It is wearing an adapted version of the Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines’ (PRSL) Dark Green paint scheme.
