Passenger Trains > The Last Pacific Surfliner of the Evening (Video)Date: 01/09/26 17:21 The Last Pacific Surfliner of the Evening (Video) Author: CrossTieWalker Amtrak Pacific Surfliner 595, the last westbound (northbound) train of the day, makes a stop at the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (or ARTIC), the Amtrak, Metrolink and bus station in the city. This train is 7 minutes late, departing the ARTIC at 23:16 (11:16 pm) with CDTX SC-44 2115 shoving on the rear. (Anaheim, California – January 6, 2026)

As an aside - I presume the Capitol Corridor trains are still running with the bi-level equipment, and then Gold Runner is running strictly with the Venture sets? Or do we have co-mingling in these two corridors, but enough new Ventures running that some of the bi-levels can be released to the Pacific Surfliner trains?
