AMTK 5 and AMTK 4 led Amtrak #6(29) through Iowa this morning.  I caught this eastbound California Zephyr zipping through the cold (the wind chill was -9°F or thereabout) in Agency, Iowa on the BNSF Ottumwa Sub.  #6 had just left the Ottumwa station over half an hour late.

Wow!  #6 ,5 & 4....Good thing it wasn't #5........6,7......Gen Alphas would have lined the tracks...cheering and acting out for some reason,  lol

Great to see 4 & 5 still running. I believe they are the oldest/lowest numbered P42s still in service.

I have see and photographed No. 1 on No. 1 and No.2 on No.2 and No. 11 on No.11.  It had to happen.
