Passenger Trains > Amtrak 6 (19) Departing Omaha 12 hrs Late

Normally this location only sees Amtrak in the pre dawn hour of about 5 AM, but today 6 rolled into town 12 hours late with the late afternoon sun reflecting off the Superliners. This is due to the train getting stuck in snow over Donner Pass. Strangely, the consist was reversed, with coaches on the front after a transition dorm, and 3 sleepers on the rear.

This is at Pierce st. Just east of the Omaha station. 2/21/2026 16:36
