Auto Train trespasser strike

P053 struck a trespasser just north of downtown Jesup, Georgia this morning. Train has proceeded south after a relief crew arrived. Amtrak 91 is stopped north of town waiting for the remains to be cleared from the track.

Train 41(25) Floridian is now stopped in south  Georgia. "A lengthy delay" is expected

Train 97(26) Meteor is on the move in north Florida, expected to be one hour late at Palatka

Train 53(26) Auto-Train is now off the train tracker, but Amtrak says it should arrive Sanford around 12.30 pm

Amtrak 91 thru Jesup at 8:50am, 97 at Jesup at 9:50am. Scene was cleared at 8:30am, normal traffic resumed.
