Passenger Trains > Bad night for ol' 97

Yesterday's 97 was late leaving NYC, as per usual lately.  Then at DC there were issues with equipment (equipment adjustments).  At Richmond, something was removed and the train took a further delay.  From there it was a signal outage, freight interference, and an equipment assessment (yes, the train has had two Chargers lately).

She is running over 3 hours late at this point.  I am on board Friday and Tuesday, to/from Savannah.  We shall see how it goes!

Well, look at the potential benefit - If 97 is three hours late, you can sleep-in 
and still have time for breakfast before arriving at Savannah.

Exactly!  I would not mind it one bit!
